The bulk carrier Arosa was pushed by hurricane "Issac" hard aground on river Mississippi on August, 29th. 2012 in Plaquemines Parish, just above Port Sulphur in South Louisiana, Mississippi Delta area. Vessel is hard aground with full length of the bottom resting aground. Strong wind gusts pushed the vessel onto the embankment while the ship was sheltering at anchor. There was no danger for the crew of the unloaded ship Reportedly the refloating will take some 3-4 weeks.

Refloated on 25.09.2012 and sailed for Tampa, Florida for drydock and arrived on 27.09.2012.

Sailed after repairs on 09.10:2012 for New Orleans for taking on cargo.

On 09.03.2017 the management company was renamed Massoel Shipping SA, Genève.

On 08.10.2019 sold in Suez to Reknav Navigation Ltd. (Management: Reknav Management Co. Ltd., Damietta, Egypt) new name REK NOBLE and registered in Panama. Official No.: 52023PEXT. Call sign 3FOT2.
